This year has been a tough one...it has seen many cancellations...birthday celebrations, live concerts, and holiday parties. But, the holiday season and purchasing gifts for the ones that we love are not canceled. I love the holidays, so I hope to spread joy and love to my friends and family in any way that I can. I run across so many cute, fun, stylish gift ideas when I am out and about shopping and styling my clients (or while shopping online the past few months), and I am so happy to share my favorite gifts with you! Since then, one of my favorite Austin jewelry designers has relocated back to Chicago where she creates her beautiful pieces in her studio. While perusing the Frances Valentine Holiday Catalog, these caught my eye...they feel vintage, fun, colorful and I LOVE them! I also adore that they are from Frances Valentine, a modern lifestyle brand created by Kate Spade, her husband and one of her best friends.  Austin's favorite cheese shop, nestled in historic Hyde Park! Gift an in-person or virtual cheese course...these have been very popular and fun during the past few months while we have been staying at home! Or, send a gift box or gift card. You may need to order one for yourself too!  A pretty place to charge your phone, and it makes for nice decor on your nightstand, dresser, entry table...  One of my favorite bags of the season! The rose colored leather, colorblock design on the sides, and wide striped strap make it the most stylish crossbody!  Dolly...what can I say? She is a legend and such a kind, loving, big hearted person...just listen to her recent podcast with Brene Brown! What a storyteller with a remarkable life and career.  Every girl needs a little snake print in her fall/winter closet and the perfect way to incorporate it into a wardrobe is as an accessory! I am obsessed with this smaller bag...carry it as a clutch, on your wrist or throw it in a larger tote. I love adding red polish to my nails for the finishing holiday touch!  I just got this bracelet for myself and it is amazing! Every time I wear it, I get compliments...many people think it is a vintage piece. It is just so cool and unique. I am wearing it with jeans, booties and my army green utility jacket. Or, you can throw it on with a dress or jumpsuit. It is from Stella & Dot. Many of you may remember that I used to work for Stella & Dot, so I have always loved their jewelry. But, this piece is really special!  We will be back to exploring the world soon! Rifle Paper Co. is my go to for the cutest stationary, cards and calendars..Anthropologie carries it of course!  Austin's own Succulent Native has the coolest succulent arrangements and gifts! Stop by their cute shop (5501 N. Lamar) to grab a gift or purchase a gift card for an arrangement or one of their fun parties! I love this Lady Face arrangement...one of my favs! Again, let's show our local Austin businesses some love during these tough times!  What girl does not have jewelry from Tiffany on her wish list? I am in love with rings...always have been...especially a ring that can be worn on your index or middle finger...so stylish and cool! Founded ten years ago by one of the most amazing, compassionate, hardest working individuals I have ever seen, Chef Jose Andres. WCK is one of my favorite organizations...they are, many times, the first on the ground serving millions of meals each year wherever a disaster occurs...anywhere in the world. COVID-19 Food Relief: their program #ChefsForAmerica has provided over 30 million meals in more than 400 US cities to children, families, and seniors hit hardest by this pandemic. I am constantly in awe of Chef Andres and his team...his posts on Twitter have brought tears to my eyes on many occasions. Consider a donation in honor of a special person on your gift list.
